No one should feel sorry for Shadeur. A key indicator was the decision to retire the numbers of is number. Shadeur, had he shown any leadership and respect for the players that came before him, could have/should have stopped it. It is the height or arrogance and highly disrespectful of Colorado's football history.
Apparently, teams noticed the overall smugness.
Beyond that, while he may have been an able college quarterback, anyone who looked beyond the hype saw the flaws in his game re: the pro game.
This many pro scouts aren't wrong. On top of that, teams, knowing that Sanders isn't all that, are content to wait for next year's qb class which has 5 to 6 guys that are probably better than Sanders.
