Since none of his background appears to be in high school recruiting, he is pretty much an unknown to high coaches and players. I doubt he has had a huge impact in a little over 2 months, so I would suggest that the recent success and his hiring is more coincidence than because of him. He signed on at the right time in a rising program.
Freeman's improvements in building a recruiting program over the last few years, establishing a track record of success on the field and the results (and exposure) of the 2025 season are the main drivers of the recent verbals.
