TE is on the downtrend and WR is as you mentioned. IMO, it feels like a lot of it follows the level of success on the field. RB for instance is a far cry from converting CJ Prosise to RB. Granted he had a decently long NFL career but was kind of odd in college. We also fumbled the years of Cierre Wood to Greg Bryant. A lot of talent was wasted in those times but the stable was more of a two man stable then. We've had at least three sold backs for a number years now.
Really, we've had a strong RB coach since (can't remember his name) went to OSU. He was the turning point for the RB room. Denson was good. Lance was lackluster, McCullough. Each seemed to get slightly better but in a different way. All were good.
