Carl Lewis ran his best 100 meters and was significantly behind multiple runners at the 60 meters point. He accelerated late. Accelerating earlier changes how fast you're moving at the end (and vice versa), so it's different than straightforward math. Maxing out 40 yards - which they obviously do - will lead to a far slower final 60 yards. How much it will slow the pace down depends on quite a few factors (anaerobic capacity, etc.).
I believe I once saw that Fuller ran a 10.7 100 meters in High School. But his time in the 40 was obviously incredible (legit low 4.3 range per his combine).
