Right now, if you look at the running back stable, we have a lot of high talent guys, where even the 4th string guys are very talented.
Going into 2025:
RB1: Love
RB2: Price (can interchange with Love for RB1)
RB3 and RB4: Williams, Young, Payne
This isn't even including Nolan James, who is one incredible athlete.
With the two guys coming in 2026, we'll have an abundance of talent that we haven't seen since the Holtz era, where Reggie Brooks had to ride the pine as a little used backup due to the stud stable of running backs (Johnson, Watters, Tony Brooks, Culver, Levens, Bettis).
While we had reasonably good RB talent during the Brian Kelly era, we were never this deep. Don't get me wrong... I respected C'Bo Flemister for his hard work as RB3, but with his limited skill set, someone else at the RB position should have eclipsed him.
