Both have a year in the system (2 for Minchey), both have played spring ball, summer drills and the start of fall camp. It would be much better if the starter was known by now. It would be a confidence builder and give most of the reps to the chosen one.
My concern is that Carr hasn't elevated his game to the point that he can be named the starter yet.
