the standard thought would be to focus on stopping Love and make Carr beat you. Conversely, would it not make sense to spread the field and use short, quick passes to the TE and receivers? Open it up and don't force Love into a loaded box until the box is loose? Carr is pretty accurate and confident...let the beast loose. Then run it down their throat. There is certainly some uncertainty as to whether running into a stacked box can move the ball consistently, regardless of JL's talent. Or maybe if the OL is good enough, it won't matter how stacked they get with some misdirection and other wrinkles to make them bite on JL and run it elsewhere?
I like a good mix with solid execution from the get go and the Canes may be on their heels all night. One thing for certain, they will be quick to react out of the gate.
