still 2005. All these guys are minor league professionals. "Student-athlete" was always a fantasy, but now we've lifted the mask, so in a way, I do appreciate that.
And it's not like ND hasn't been active in this respect. Last year, ND basketball had a transfer who made ND his fourth school in six years.
With everything else that has changed, I'd love to hear someone make a logical counterargument against the principle that so long as a player is enrolled at a university, he should have athletic eligibility.
