Last year, their offensive line flat-out stunk up the field. I don't blame Uiagalelei for the woes of that team, since they couldn't run block or pass block effectively and consistently all year long.
For this game, they looked a lot better. I would say that they have the potential to upset a top 10 team here and there.
Also, having Gus Malzahn as their OC simplified the offense a lot. Having a QB familiar with his offense also helps.
But... Tommy Castellanos, being a polished senior and all, doesn't look like the type of QB who can take command and elevate your team the way that Trevor Lawrence can. He's basically a scrambler who can make a short to medium range throw with reasonably good consistency.
He's definitely not going to be able to stretch the field vertically the way that Cam Newton did at Auburn (Malzahn was the OC back then). They're going to need that vertical threat to beat the big boys.
