The only person who played at least like he knew what he was doing was Ashton Craig.
The rest looked like they didn't know their assignments most of the time.
At the very least last year, they could run block. Everyone on the OL looked like they took a step back from last year, and had no fire to go hit someone. We have a coach who preaches choose violence. Miami did, ND did not.
The only good thing I can take from this game is that it was game 1, with Carr in his first start, on the road, in shitty weather, gave the ball away inside the 30 twice, and still only lost by 3.
ND was the better team, but they certainly didn't play like it.
