It was exciting to watch, good match-up and week 1. It was easily painful to watch becuase you knew

it was over after the lackluster first drive on both offense and defense. No fire and coaches had NO INTEREST whatsoever in putting the ball in playmakers hands or applying pressure. Even the last MIA TD, if Shuler had not been so lackadaisical and waiting on the ball to come to him he could have picked it.

The theme of the night seemed to be reaction, letting plays come to ND players rather than proactively making things happen.
