ND does have a HC who has the ability to tell our DC whatever you're doing, stop doing it, but, MF apparently did nothing and he's a former DC. Same with offense. He had to approve the game plans on both sides of the ball. The zone days are largely over imho and I think you will see a more aggressive defense along with a steady dose of Love and Price.
