  • Question for everyone about our defense for this week/ IMO stopping this team appears more - THEISMANCARR - 6:37pm 9/9/25 (31) [View All]
    • Probably run man under zone. It doesn't seem like their inability - DiscoRick - 12:17pm 9/11/25

      • Denbrock isn't figuring anything out. His stuff is his stuff, is his stuff, etc,..... - Clem - 8:25am 9/11/25
        • Jayden Daniels and their WR corp made denbrock look like a genius - ndphysics - 11:30am 9/11/25
          • I dunno, seems he pretty ingeniously figured out how to neuter our run game while simultaneously - DiscoRick - 12:11pm 9/11/25
            • Fully agree. Maybe Riley was the right fit for our preferred offense. If freeman wants - ndphysics - 12:56pm 9/11/25
              • ND won a lot of games big last year, and dominated pretty well in the first two playoff - THEISMANCARR - 11:25pm 9/11/25
                • I don’t think many of us expect our QB to be a running back. I think we envision - ndphysics - 4:37pm 9/12/25
              • Leonard was perfect for their offense. - DiscoRick - 8:45pm 9/11/25

    • Hope that A&M isn't loaded with huge NFL O linemen like Miami!!! [NT] - irishslovak - 8:57am 9/10/25
      • Don't know but several beat reporters claim that their oline is better than Miami's [NT] - NDQuebec - 1:10pm 9/10/25
        • Was at the Miami game. 'Cons had 3 times as many "NFL bodies". You could see it during warm ups. [NT] - irishslovak - 2:21pm 9/10/25
          • Watching on TV I thought our D players looked like they had length but lacked bulk. [NT] - ghostwriter - 6:56pm 9/10/25
            • Have not seen our D line handled like that since the 'Bama NC game. [NT] - irishslovak - 10:14pm 9/10/25
    • Keep a fast LB as a spy on the QB. Don’t let his legs beat us. Make him throw into coverage [NT] - ndphysics - 7:58pm 9/9/25
      • With the speed ND has at LB they shouldn't have to use a spy. [NT] - Clem - 5:20am 9/10/25

      • Guraranteed loss. See Miami game. No pass rush and zone defense = QBs dream. [NT] - oldirish - 1:16pm 9/10/25
        • Zone + blitz OR man + blitz mix it up [NT] - KWIRISH - 11:27pm 9/11/25
        • Exactly. Given time, even great corners lose a step on a good receiver. Get the qb [NT] - murph78 - 6:27pm 9/10/25
      • Our zone sucked. Guys played slow. [NT] - faircatchcorby - 11:27am 9/10/25

        • Exactly. Have to get in the backfield and create havoc, - Clem - 5:15am 9/10/25
          • Have you seen how fast that QB is? Don't admire him, find a way to best defend him. The runner - THEISMANCARR - 9:06am 9/10/25
