I still can't believe MF hired Ash, a guy whose career trajectory had him one step from being out of the game altogether. ND had the money and talent on D to make a splash and hire a top DC and they settled for a guy who was reduced to being a scout for one of the worst run franchises in the NFL. Mindboggling. So I, for one, am not expecting him to figure it out either.
It's up to MF to take a more hands on approach with both units and tell Denbrock to stop being so cute and run the damn ball and maybe just take over the D and have Ash be in charge of getting him coffee when he wants it. It's where his career was heading anyways before MF hired him and he probably needs the practice.
