First, and foremost, prayers for Steve Angeli. He went down with a non-contact injury, and was on the sidelines in a boot. Coach Fran Brown said that he's going to be out for a long time.
Angeli was having a very good game against Clemson, until he went down with a hard hit. When he came back, his leg buckled at one time, and he couldn't put any weight on it. The dropoff in performance was obvious once Rickie Collins stepped in, and I wish Mr. Angeli the speediest and fullest of recoveries.
The offensive linemen continue to strongly contribute to their teams.
The wide receivers continue to lack any big time presence, although it was good to see that Jayden Thomas was on the field.
The defensive players, outside of two Aidens, aren't generating any waves.
Offensive MVP:
C Pat Coogan for playing a hell of a game against a top 10 team.
Defensive MVP:
DL Aiden Gobiara
