They are 2nd in the nation in passing yards per game and 16th in the nation in rushing yards per game (ahead of ND). They are 3rd in the nation in total points per game at 45.5 (also ahead of ND). Maiava leads the nation in quarterback ratings.
Sure, the schedule has something to do with it but they put up 31 vs a good Michigan defense etc.
Sure, they also lost their 1st and 2nd string running backs but their 3rd string walkon ran for tons last week.
If they're not a buzzsaw, they're the closest thing to it and have the best offense ND has or will play this year.
