I was in the deluge there in 2008 against UM. I don't remember anyone leaving their seats.

In weather like this, you're getting wet, period. Embrace it.

Kind of reminds me of when Rocket Ismail played for Notre Dame
Invincibility with no vulnerability

  • I’m leaning toward the opinion that the rain favors ND - Curly1918 - 7:45am 10/18/25 (11) [View All]
    • This game should tell us if the ND defense fixed their issues. Putting the weather aside, ND - jray - 9:45am 10/18/25
    • 76 today and fairly windy leading up to game time - WoodstockIrish - 9:40am 10/18/25
    • Cold and wet favors ND. USC is thin blooded 80s during the day 60s at night [NT] - Jerseymick - 9:04am 10/18/25
      • It's not going to be cold, mid 70's during the day and mid 60's by the time the game is over. [NT] - Clem - 9:49am 10/18/25
      • I hate SC. But- "It's never too cold for a real Beach Boy." Dennis Wilson [NT] - irishslovak - 9:30am 10/18/25
    • I would agree...."bad" weather should favor ND. I say that Riley will have his qb throw short - NEPA Irish - 8:00am 10/18/25
      • Bad weather will negate the crowd advantage I believe. Fans will head for cover in downpours. - ELP - 8:13am 10/18/25
        • Have family going tonight. Packing all their rain gear. Just hoping no lightening delays. [NT] - michiganirish - 10:12am 10/18/25
          • That is the worst. 45 minute delay turns into 2 hours, sometimes more. - ELP - 1:51pm 10/18/25
        • They will? - AlbanyIRISH - 8:53am 10/18/25
          • And I've been to many games in heavy weather where fans headed for cover. - ELP - 9:45am 10/18/25
