If anything, Luke Talich has proven himself too good to stay on the bench, and we have some highly talented and hungry true freshmen at the S position.
That, plus Joey O'Brien coming in next year, along with Ayden Pouncey, would have made it more difficult for Urlacher to crack the 2-deep.
Don't get me wrong. I want him to succeed (except against us), and hope that he can truly find his niche at USC, and become the star I think he can be.
It's just that we have quite a nice current and future roster when it comes to the S position, and I want the best man to start.
