Is there an issue with our OL used to blocking to open holes for the backs to get through vs. just

pushing the DL backwards? Opening holes works great up to the goal line, but not in short yardage where the LBers just fill all the holes. Is it a totally different skillset and mindset to just push everyone back and our technique or power isn't built for that? I know we generally have undersized OL who are more agile than say when we play A&M, Georgia, etc.

        • Yep. They'll likely redshirt the guy is my guess. [NT] - faircatchcorby - 8:31am 10/24/25
          • He's already used his standard redshirt. Since he's lost significant time to injury in both... - Irish_Demon - 1:31pm 10/24/25
