KSU has one other notable running back, Joe Jackson, and even then, he doesn't have nearly the same level of talent that Edwards has.

This year for Edwards has been an unfortunate one with the injuries, so I actually agree with his wanting to shut it down for the rest of the year, to preserve the redshirt year.

However, it just seems odd that he'd leave an offense that was the perfect fit for him.

The big questions are how bad is the injury, and will he be able to fully recover?

His leaving KSU for what he thinks are greener pastures may work, but on the other hand, it's more likely that he could end up like Logan Diggs, who is now only playing minor spot duty at Ole Miss as RB4.
