Disagree... He was hitting a pretty good stride in the 2nd half of 2021

With Jack Coan throwing to him, he was starting to rack up some respectable stats in the 2nd half of 2021, especially in the Fiesta Bowl.

In 2022, the QB situation was terrible. He was getting wide open across the middle, to the left, and even deep to the right, but Pyne would either not look his way (locking onto Mike Mayer in double coverage), or was unable to make the throw (20+ yards).

If Styles had someone like Sam Hartman throwing to him in 2022, I think he could have become a bona fide WR1 for us.

    • Styles had an elite track profile, just didn't click at WR. Maybe returns is his thing. I recall... - Karamello - 2:08pm 11/16/25

        • Nonsense, he couldn't catch the ball, that was his problem. [NT] - Clem - 7:11am 11/17/25
    • The real story here is not the return but the fact that he caught the ball in the first place. [NT] - Clem - 1:11pm 11/16/25
