The other 11 should be strictly by CFT ranking, in that order, Conf affiliation be damned

No byes, Top 8 get a first round home, Top 3 Conf Champs get to pick which leg of bracket they play in (but still seeded in ranking order), 4th Conf Champ gets the remaining leg (seeded in ranking order)

This would not add any additional rounds or weeks to the current 12 team playoff, would keep campus games a part of the playoffs, would eliminate byes while still rewarding Conference Champs, but would all Conferences to make the choice of still playing physical CCGs or just naming a Conf Champ.
