if this game was close, say 28-21, they wouldn't need to go on and on about it. But it wasn't close, Bama got a garbage time TD, have -3 net rushing yards, and was clearly not the same version from earlier this season. hence, they keep trying to reinforce the notion this won't mean anything, yet even one of them mentioned that every loser in a CCG last year dropped some. I can't see this being the game breaking that precedent, so I believe the debate for the committee now is, do we save Alabama after an ugly performance against admittedly a very good team, or do we screw a Miami team that easily beat the team that is Bama's worst loss.
