ND doesn't have a lot of leverage. It's a huge brand, and its leverage is its draw.

Miami's biggest game in 10 years was the game earlier this year against ND.

But beyond that, ND no longer has an exclusive media contract. It doesn't have a state backing it up. It doesn't have 50,000 students. Etc.

So, have to play the cards ND has and play them as well as we can. As much as I hated Swarbrick, I think he was effective at the back room stuff. Pete, less so. But, that's not to say he's bad at his job.
