None of these teams had a playoff chance in hell to make the final cut. None.

They were ALL bound for semi glory playing in a bowl that was only important to them and some of their fanbase. None of these teams were one of the favs to win it all like ND. None of these teams were put in position to be in the playoffs only for ESPN to pull the rug. BYU was never ever a serious title contender. Pop Tarts was their destiny. I'm betting all these who wrote negative comments don't know ND and don't know the back story behind ND sitting out the bowl season. Maybe these cable access "sports" analysts should talk to some of the players from ND. They might learn something. Maybe these commentators should research the history of ND bowl games and how they have opted out before. Then maybe they would write an educated piece about the subject. Maybe they could sit back and ponder why Bama was put in a position to make the playoffs. Maybe they could sit back and ask why Tulane and JMU was even a thought in this whole playoff ESPN ACC Big10 SEC money making scheme. Maybe they can have a discussion with an Aaron Taylor, Ryan Harris, or Mike Goolsby. Players that have been there and done that, unlike these writers.
