Speed. Maybe KK Smith. Now only Cam Williams remains, but for how long? This is a big loss. Something is very wrong in the program right now. I believe it is these 3 reasons, in order of effect:
1). ND pays less money than its competitors.
2). Most of the competition does not require students to physically go to class. Almost all classes are taken online. Generation Z widely expects this. I know by first hand experience in trying to hire and retain young engineers. When they are told there will be little or no remote work, most are not interested. ND allows very few online classes.
3). The negative media barrage against ND is working. When a lie is repeated endlessly, people believe it might be true.
