Renegotiate..if you shine you get upped..if you don't you get next to nothing so you get cut or quit.. basically destroying the middle class of the roster .. flushing it like a toilet .think of the bottom third of the roster like pro football free agents practice squad types..zinter is an example..best special teams player might have got low balled or wanted a chance to play a position..then he moved on .this new era hurt a majority of guys that were program player types..no nd degree for them..not sure if they do but these colleges should pay for these guys classes to at least get their degree..
