The 1st Team C-USA DT was offered by ND. He was a graduate transfer, so academics probably had nothing to do with it. Colorado probably offered more $$.
Alabama DT James Smith and his buddy LB Russaw no longer considering ND. Probably between Ohio State and Mizzou.
Francis Brewu is supposedly 50/50 between ND and Tenn.
Don’t be surprised if ND does not sign a single true DT from an FBS school. There may be some FCS or Ivy League DT that would be willing to come for a low compensation, but evidently ND is not willing to pay the $750,000 to $1 million it takes to get a really good FBS DT.
