- My mom was a waitress at the Plymouth Holiday Inn where the team stayed on Friday nights. He was doing a bed check and walking around to each room, saw me and we waved at each other.
- Shared a flight with him from Indy to South Bend. In the boarding area an older guy with gray hair came up to him and explained he was a CURRENT student at Notre Dame. Lou praised him and couldn't have been nicer.
- Asked him a question on his SiriusXM golf show.
