My meeting with Lou happend this way. I befriended his secretary, Jan and one day I was visiting her

He came out of his office and she introduced me to him and I could see him look at me and measure me with his eyes. I must have passed the eye test because he then said you are welcome here if you are a friend of Jan's. He let me in his office. He had just gotten done being interviewed by the CBS game announcers, which included Jim Nantz, who came out chuckling as he must have been amused with the time he was in his office. Coach was charming and genuine.
