year there? It turns out at the time his wife had some health issues and Lou was trying to juggle that and coach the team. Once she turned the corner, word has it that he gathered his coaching staff and said we are going to turn this thing around, and I believe the S. Carolina team went 8-4 that year after not winning any games the year before. I just love the guy. To this day, I still feel that I’ve never seen such physical ND teams since he coached here. Just a great coach and man!!
