Offensive Lineman seem to be the most reliable 1st round picks.

If I owned a team, my marching orders would be to build the team from the inside out. Use the 1st and 2nd rounds to draft linemen, edge rushers, linebackers, and tight ends.
Use free agency and rounds 3-7 for skill positions.

But there are always exceptions, when a player like Love is available who is a special talent, a game changer. Albeit the genuine concern that RBs are injury prone, does one pass up the pick, only to see Love wearing a different uniform and lighting up the league?
