Offensive line determines the backfield success

Aneyas Williams is the RB1. He's the complete package, that he can run for speed, run for power, run with elusiveness, and equally as important, he'll be better than either Love or Price in the passing game.

That, plus he's also the strongest guy on the team, when you look at pound for pound comparisons.

On any other team, he would have been the starter last year as a true sophomore. He was actually looking pretty polished as a true freshman in 2024.

Like you pointed out, he had two 1st round draft picks ahead of him.

The offensive line returns a veteran crew, with plenty of experience, and I believe that Anthonie Knapp is really going to shine this year at his natural position of guard. I simply wish Charles Jagusah wouldn't have been bitten by the injury bogeyman...

    • Your concerns should be focused on Denbrock, not the talent. - iairishcheeks - 11:26pm 6/21/26
    • I'd like to think we are reloading at RB. Staff has to want to run, though, and not get cutesy. [NT] - NedoftheHill - 8:45pm 6/21/26
      • agreed. ND running should be awesome, Impose the Irish Will, Pound the ROCK, mix in the pass.... [NT] - KWIRISH - 1:03am 6/22/26
