I suspect that if he takes care of business as usual for the 2026 season, that he'll get a boost in his rating again, although at this stage, I think that's the last thing on his mind.
One way or the other, it's actually very welcoming to see our high talent QB commits wanting to reclassify. Jarrard and Monds both doing that makes me think that we have the right guys in the coaching staff (Denbrock, Guidugli).
During the Kelly era, I don't think there were any highly rated QB's willing to do so. The possibility of a big time name like JT Daniels did with USC, reclassifying, didn't happen with us.
If anything, the only big time QB willing to reclassify for Kelly was while he was at LSU (Colin Hurley), and that didn't exactly go over very well.
