Typical Liberal pearl clutchers crying about this. Isn’t their dumbass term a “nuthinburger”?
I feel like this is just grandstanding and pointless.
If anyone actually looks at everyone's forms to decide who they want to vote for, I'd like to hear from you.

You've done that since Nixon?
I'm really just curious, no judgements here.
I do.
It all began in econ class in my first year of high school.
Was it a class assignment that got you started on it?
I really don't remember it being a big deal until Trump, but I also didn't pay much attention to politics until the first Obama run.
I've never met anyone who was worried about their tax returns which is why I was curious.
They actually reveal interesting things about presidents and VP’s.
Not until DJT has this been such a divisive issue. He lied about his audit, he lies about his income, charities and more. His returns should red flag everywhere.
We’ve been saying for decades he hasn’t the wealth he claims and isn’t the savvy businessman he claims to be.
I’m sure there will be more later.
The Dems are praying to their god he is the Republican nominee.
Despite my misgivings about his personality, i would pull the lever for him against any Dem.
it makes no difference if there is an outcome. Investigate the next opponent until people are just sick of them.
I agree this type of politicking has to stop on both sides.
seems to me that he has a problem with 'Procrastination'...at least now he should be relieved that the tax returns have finally been made public...better late than never...right, Donald?

I don't actually see any reason why we wouldn't want as much transpancy about a politician's finances as possible.
Yes, the left will create a whole new set of bad faith arguments about Trump. I'd rather that happen, than the alternative, which in my mind, is allowing a mechanism that allows politicians to hide corruption.
find nothing exciting, the liberals will blame Trump for the time and money they themselves wasted. They will use the falsehood that he was somehow compelled to do what some other preseidents have done voluntarily. There is no law requiring it. There is an IRS audit of every candidate. But, the libs will claim that they were compelled to get the returns released because he wanted to keep them private.
What is also funny is that they will demean the 10's of millions in income as "tiny like his hands" when in fact the goal of any good accountant is to pay taxes on only what is necessary, and most of his assets are not reported on his personal income tax return.
Meanwhile, the Big Guy gets his Quid pro Quo cut, the Clinton Foundation gets there's, the Obamas build multiple homes around the world from his "community organizer paychecks, Nancy Pelosi rides the stock market to Erebor, and Anthony Fauci gets rich on drug company profits that his decisions effect. But....I know..."Totally Differentism". Liberal Rule #8
have easily done what every other recent President has...just release them...after all, he should be immensely proud to have everyone see what a fantastic and wealthy businessman he (cough) is.
Now that it's done, let's see why he worked so hard to avoid this outcome.
If there was good reason to have him release them, then DJT was the energy wasting culprit.
If there was not good reason, then the energy was wasted when the request was made.
What was the reason for the request?
tax claims...check out the linked article...
I'm guessing there will be more items for discussion between DJT and the IRS...perhaps even the DOJ.
It's nice to see Presidents open up their financial kimonos, so that citizens can feel more assured that there are no 'entanglements', foreign or domestic, that would affect his/her decision making. It's worked quite well up until DJT came along.

You don't trust the IRS to do their job, so you want to put it to the court of public opinion to twist his tax returns into whatever pretzel best suits your belief system.
let's see if DJT has anything to hide that might run afoul of the law...after all, he did promise to release those forms as soon as the IRS completed its audit...said he'd be more than happy to.

But as we saw with Fauci, they are able to do these insane mental gymnastics to convince themselves that they are somehow justified in their thinking. It's fascinating, really.

The IRS audits every POTUS candidate. Public release of this information has always been voluntary....up unitl TDS.
