The stated purpose is to...wait for it...fight Russkie disinformation!
There's something wrong with you people who think we should be sending this clown billions. Stop subsidizing corrupt authoritarians.

You don't have to answer if you don't want to. I haven't been following this issue.
I was willing to watch on that issue for other signs since this alone might be understandable (though even so, there are legitimately devoted people within that church).
Now, with the revelation of what he is doing which general free speech in the Ukraine, the level of concern regarding Zelensky has gone up…..a lot.
Aid should come with some strings attached wrt the understanding that this will be a democracy that we are saving.
Zelensky will have to comply if the US makes aid contingent on this (and he should have to do so in my opinion). If this is all Russian disinformation aboutZelensky, it would be simple for him to short circuit it by giving these assurances and removing his bans.
Loose lips always sink ships… even in Russian Orthodox churches. All other Christian churches oppose Putin.
By the way,,, how is censorship imposed by Putin? Probably results is a fall from a balcony

that is left when people have no rational arguments/counterarguments. We understand.
Again, Neville, appeasing Russia and cancelling Ukrainian aid ain’t gonna give us peace in our time.
mess. And by, "we," I mean the United States. Your blue and yellow flag hasn't made you Ukrainian, though I'm sure that this can be arranged. You can get in line behind Pelosi and Adam Schiff and Ben Stiller and Angela Jolie and Sean Penn and lcik Z-bag's boots or fellate him in his snazzy army fatigues.
But be careful, it's $10,000 a pop and you're obligated to up that amount the next round.
if they were at war, it might be considered a strategic move.
But then again, they’re not at war and it’s obvious democracy has failed in Ukraine.
It’s obviously just corrupt censorship.
Well thought out.
The war. Thank Russia for the war.
Anybody who read Zelensky wiki before the war should know there was a specific entry stating Zelensky was increasingly becoming authoritarian after becoming Ukraine president. His approval rating was very low before the war, in 20-30 range. Again, thank Russia for the war.
I don't care if Zelensky is authoritarian, but the western propaganda on this deeply corrupted country that has ban all opposition parties has reach to the point beyond ridiculous.

He surely has been there more often than I and had many Ukrainians friends keeping informed about what is really going on. Sadly, I have rely on only two visits to Ukraine and my dozen or so in-laws and friends
and my take has been consistent and coherent.

Oh, let’s not forget the confirmed reports of Russian troops raping women and killing children. Good on ya’, Vlad
Does sending more weapons do more to prevent Russians from raping women and killing children, or are we adding more fuel to the fire?
He’s a psycho piece of trash reminiscent of Stalin.

Go back to fellating your hero, Vlad
Don't use Ukraine as crown jewel of democracy to fool Amerindians In order to get billions and billions dollars.
Russia has also been meddling in Ukrainian affairs for decades. Fuck you and your Russian loving family
Fuck you too. Feel sorry for your wife if you have one.
On countless occasions. This, my dumb Russian piece of shit, deems the Minsk agreements null and void.
I am married to an amazing woman and we have two wonderful children. My wife asks, why do you support a murderous tyrant? What do you have to gain?

One might even say that it’s a national emergency.
And they are actually combating Russian disinformation that is making that emergency worse.
A few deleted posts is not exactly a big price to pay.
fought for.
doing all it can to preserve their rightful borders and democracy...as you appear to do in other posts...i.e. the AMA is appalled at the impact of medical dis-information and seeks its eradication in the interest of the American public's health and well-being...why shouldn't Volodymyr Zelensky do the same when it's his country's survival at stake?

similar efforts themselves wrt censorship.
People are mixed bags, and it would be wise to remember this when holding them up as perfect heroes.

Some countries have occasionally found a need for censorship during wartime.

"People are mixed bags, and it would be wise to remember this when holding them up as perfect heroes."
Nobody here is referring to Putin as a hero, especially not me. But most are referring to Zelensky as a hero.
Why do you try to pull this shit? Your better than that, aren't you? or are you going down to the level of jim?
Putin is an evil dictator killing thousands of innocent civilians to serve his delusions of rebuilding a Russian empire. I will happily support a “mixed bag” if he is fighting that piece of shit.

This dude and his wife are taking the free world, and us, specifically, for a ride, and they're enjoying it. When is he booked for the Tonight Show?
It's that simple.
No, it's not that simple. Argument by assertion. Putin does not represent any sort of imminent defense threat to the United States. We are not benefitting in tangible ways to funding the corrupt Ukraine. In fact, we are doing it to our detriment, which is one of the reasons so many lefties now like this kind of military interventionism. And, again, it's also connected to this simple math equation to them and to others: Putin = Trump and, therefore, the US + Ukraine > Putin/Trump.
We're playing with the prospect of nuclear war, which is always insanity. Zelenskyy's lying about the bombing in Poland a few weeks back demonstrates that the idiot is willing to provoke nuclear war. I have kids. I'm not amused or impressed by the virtue signaling and obligatory defenses that the next insane foreign policy to "stabilize" or "protect democracy" is paramount. Blow it out your derrieres.
During the Russian invasion of Afghanistan, we supplied the Afghani’s with weapons and training for the entire duration. I don’t recall the hand-wringing about provoking nuclear war during those long, bloody conflicts. But suddenly, THIS TIME, it is a gigantic risk. I disagree.
Putin has launched numerous military adventures against his neighbors in the past decade. Each one a little more serious than the last. In my estimation, the next on the list for bullying would have been one of the Baltic states. The propagandistic reason would be mistreatment of the native Russian speakers or some similar balderdash. It was time for the world to say, “enough”. Happily, Putin is losing this war. Hopefully, his humiliation will give China second thoughts about Taiwan.

Oh, wait! You're the one person here who thinks we should continue sending billions to failed comedian authoritarian who doesn't argue that Putin is unstable and irrational, right? Got it. Very reassuring.
Yes, it is, like, totally, like, silly to mention nuclear war as a plausible consequence of participating in this mess, but it is totally rational and not a bit hyperbolic to posit that Putin is going to go on the march across Europe if corrupt, craphole country X falls to the commies. Domino theory! It's, like, so clear in history! You know what? None of you actually believe that tripe. Not a one.
Get your news straight from Peskov, avoid the middleman.
I mean, you've obviously watched him, so fill me in.

Let's cancel all the aid that you said Biden doesn't do enough of because you are now concerned about free speech in wartime Kiev, which is bombed indiscriminately every fucking night by an evil regime. Makes sense.
dangerous man to be supporting anyways if he did that. And he wouldn't do that.
Enough with the "no strings attached" aid bullshit. Keep the aid going, but insist on supporting a democracy. You KNOW that I am right, you just don't want to admit it publicly on this board.
Z-bag is a creep.

I am not a Putin lover at all. I supported military help to the Ukraine before the libs on this board did. I see Putin for the moster that he is. But we do not have to turn into a monster to fight one.
