"The end of the long inquiry into whether Donald Trump was colluding with Russia came in July 2019, when Robert Mueller III, the special counsel, took seven, sometimes painful, hours to essentially say no.
'Holy shit, Bob Mueller is not going to do it,' is how Dean Baquet, then the executive editor of the New York Times, described the moment his paper’s readers realized Mueller was not going to pursue Trump’s ouster.
Baquet, speaking to his colleagues in a town hall meeting soon after the testimony concluded, acknowledged the Times had been caught “' little tiny bit flat-footed” by the outcome of Mueller’s investigation.'"
and
"Trump and his acolytes in the conservative media fueled the ensuing political storm, but the hottest flashpoints emerged from the work of mainstream journalism. The two most inflammatory, and enduring, slogans commandeered by Trump in this conflict were 'fake news' and the news media as 'the enemy of the American people.' They both grew out of stories in the first weeks of 2017 about Trump and Russia that wound up being significantly flawed or based on uncorroborated or debunked information, according to FBI documents that later became public. Both relied on anonymous sources."
What are we to make of the fact that as the American public's opinion of the press has cratered, conor's opinion of the press has never been higher?
Also, will Jim find this information and opinion legitimate, or is the Columbia School of Journalism a purveyor of right-wing disinformation, and thus can be disregarded out of hand?

intelligence services during the 2016 presidential election posed a “grave” counterintelligence threat, a Senate panel concluded Tuesday as it detailed how ASSOCIATES OF DONALD TRUMP HAD REGULAR CONTACT WITH RUSSIANS AND EXPECTED TO BENEFIT FROM THE KREMLIN'S HELP. (emphasis mine)

This is so easy...keep making a fool of yourself...
Just listen to what they say outright.

details...like Michael Flynn and Paul Manafort lying about connections with Russian intermediaries...Don Jr. meeting with Russian lawyer having dirt on HRC...btw, there's much more in the 1,000 page report.
I'd say the MSM got it right...but keep on trying to deny it...

that the Trump campaign colluded with Russian intelligence to alter the election but did find that Russia did interfere with the election of Trump? I’m sure that is what you meant.
You could have added, Barr lied to the public when he said the Mueller Report exonerated Trump and his campaign from collusion and obstruction. Something he clearly did not.
Did you misread your own link?
Having read much of the link, it is clear media everywhere is vulnerable to their sources, example W Bush/Cheney ops give false information to the NYTIMES on Iraq being a chief player in the 9/11 attacks and the Times reported that false information. Lazy reporting. But then we can look at all right wing outlets and find misinformation, false facts daily. FOX, NewsMax, Breitbart, NYpost, … all famous for their roles in boosting the popularity of W and Trump while lying about Obama and HRC.
So in conclusion, I wouldn’t doubt USA has a low rating in CJR. Your post is a perfect example of far right wing journalism - you’re smug about passing on information incorrectly.

Everytime I turned it on, I had to crank up the volume. Is this such a mind-boggling concept? Is it so difficult to equalize the volume to literally every other channel on the dial?
