Economic interests now need to choose business venues with an eye to their being vulnerable to politically ambitious DAs.

This is just from one US Attorney's Office. Pick any office in the nation, and do the same search.
Do the same for State AG offices.
People are criminally prosecuted all the time for various forms of fraud, to include fudging numbers for bank loans.
Trump was the subject of a civil action by the NY AG's Office. He was lucky not to be the subject of a criminal prosecution for fraud.
He is not above the law. Nor should he be.

You think anyone would have cared about the Whitewater investments had Clinton not been prez? Or John Edward's seamy affairs?
It comes with the territory. He is not being singled out. Scrutiny comes with the job.
Stop the constant bitching and whining - if you committed fraud all your life, you shouldn't run for president. Not complicated.
I'm sure Trump could have been sued in other jurisdictions... but these DA's ran on campaigns to bring him down.
Republican DA's could do the same to wealthy Dem politicians or donors but they do not with to hurt their own local economies.
If I were a billionaire I would divest of any NY investments.

predicated on cheating, defrauding, and lying to people such as the little guy contractors he outright stiffed, and his multiple bankruptcies leaving his creditors holding the bag.
They have him dead to rights on this loan fraud.
But yeah any poor billionaire is now at risk.
The cultism is just nauseating.

The cultists focus on "them, not us" is nauseating.
and brazenly do it himself? That’s not illegal. The Charity buying the portrait is one reason it was shut down.
I do agree though that he is the same type of grifter that Orange is.
And isn’t he also under indictment for some type of criminal fraud?
Do better.
I don't know what to make of any of this, but Kevin O'Leary seems to know what he is talking about.
And the NY Gov, coming out saying that this won't be used on anyone else is more than a bit unsettling.

Or every politician who challenges election results?
Don't hold your breath.
where politicians challenged election results illegally.
should happen. You can call this one, Cohen’s revenge for getting shafted and sent to jail by the dear leader who’s bidding he had done.
