Ukraine enjoyed a taste of freedom because of John Paul's courage and they are willing to die for it.
Today's version of the America First Committee (that supported Hitler) are merely inviting a continued Russian aggression that will eventually lead to a Europe wide war that we will not be able to avoid.

think it's moral to continue letting more people die for unrealistic and unachievable goal.
But we have a lot of people who believe US support will change the result of the war. There are 2 groups of these supporters. One group is a group of fools, believing Ukraine can win some on battle field and get a better position on negotiation table later if we continue to support them. Most war supporters here belong to this group. Another group is dangerous group. Their support is intended to gradually get US involved deeper and deeper to a point of escalation that a war between NATO/US and Russia is unavoidable.
Vatican did so today, backing away from careless language (surprise, surprise) br Francis.
You and others continually blame the victim instead of the aggressor. Ukraine did not invade Russia in a war of aggression.
and Ukraine will lose more land. We will send all our munitions to Ukraine when Taiwan needs them, and we will drive Russia closer to China and the BRICs. Continuing a war that has been a strategic, diplomatic, and humanitarian failure is unconscionable.
They can only do that with US assistance.
Try to use your head.
against the West. You are absolutely delusional if you think Ukraine can fight Russia to a draw. That is insane and shows how little you know about warfare. Ukraine will keep losing ground, men and munitions. At some point, the Army will crack.

at munition production at a 4 to 1 clip. Ukraine will not win a war of attrition that way. They will lose it.
"Meanwhile, Russia recently took the Ukrainian city of Avdiivka and is widely seen as having the initiative on the battlefield. Ukraine is struggling not just with ammunition but also growing manpower shortages on the front lines."
“The number one issue that we’re watching right now is the munitions,” the NATO official said. “It’s those artillery shells, because that’s where Russia really [is] mounting a significant production advantage and mounting a significant advantage on the battlefield.”
Russia is running artillery factories “24/7” on rotating 12-hour shifts, the NATO official said. About 3.5 million Russians now work in the defense sector, up from somewhere between 2 and 2.5 million before the war. Russia is also importing ammunition: Iran sent at least 300,000 artillery shells last year — “probably more than that,” the official said — and North Korea provided at least 6,700 containers of ammunition carrying millions of shells.
Russia has “put everything they have in the game,” the intelligence official said. “Their war machine works in full gear.”
“Russia’s output is 24/7. I mean, huge, immense,” one European lawmaker said. “We should not underestimate their will to outlast us with patience, and with resilience.”

Adiivka. Ukraine will let Kharkiv fall. Russia has 20% of Ukraine and looks to take more. The result of the war is 100% inevitable.
By the way what is this inevitable result you keep speaking of? Russia occupying most of the nation? Won’t happen if we don’t abandon them.

don't try to speak for the Ukrainian people...this conflict is not over.

If they go down which if we help them they won’t, they will remain a thorn in Russia’s side forever.
the size of Illinois'...don't sweat the $$...it's for a VERY GOOD cause.
numbers.
...I'm not sure you've given much serious thought to it...for some odd reason you seem to just want Russia to win...weird for an American patriot to cheer on one of its worst enemies.
$200b because Ukraine can't keep pace with Russia's munition production and manpower advantage.
Even CNN's Natasha Bertand reported on this.
Bertrand also reported that Russia has all the momentum on the battlefield.
This is a lost cause.
last year...all it takes to reverse much of Putin's ill-gotten gains is for the U.S. and NATO countries to add more assistance...especially F-16s that Ukrainian pilots are completing training in...to be provided and Vlad will likely be talking up a cease fire...money is not an impediment for those supporting Ukraine.
If you feel smeared...it's just Truth landing on you, Cole.

And you can rest assure that the Ukrainians will keep fighting with or without our assistance.

Of course that was a rhetorical question…
Russia does not have endless manpower or resources. Case in point…Putin conscripting convicts and enlisting the help of foreign fighters. Yes, Russia has a population advantage and yes, Russia is out producing an immobilized West when it comes to munitions. I understand that, but that’s not the end all be all when it comes to war/combat. The Ukraine has the will to fight and as long as they’re willing to fight, we should support their effort against a mutual enemy.
The 60b will enable the Ukrainians to continue their fight for freedom. If the stalemate continues, it wouldn’t surprise me to see the Russians lose their will to fight. Russian morale isn’t at its height right now..

already pouring in for munition production without the $60b. It's not like we're going to use that $60b to buy munitions from Joe Seller in Virginia who has them on a pallet in Norfolk; they don't exist. The $60b won't change a thing about the available weapons and munitions. It will just go to the Ukraine government.
Meanwhile, Ukraine is running out of men to fight, and is turning to women and teenagers. Russia, on the other hand, has no problem meeting its recruitment goals.
The war is lost. It has been lost for quite some time.
Pathetic.
Over 65% of the 60billion actually goes to American companies that manufacture military equipment and munitions. The rest of the funds are allocated to help with humanitarian aid and to help the survival of the Ukrainian economy.
And please make sure the Ukrainian army gets the message that the war is lost. I don’t think they received the memo.
Britain. We need to continue to help Ukraine as long as THEY want to stay in the game.
I love how Eli thinks he’s “teaching” the board, when all the while he looks like an imbecile. Par for the course with these two fucks.
