This guy HAD THE CHARGES DROPPED AGAINST HIM! Do you know how difficult that is these days - especially with college tribunals? (I know that the SCOTUS ruled that colleges were acting illegally, but this appears to have occurred before the ruling).
These bastards make their own personal decision to condemn this guy and humilate him on the stage in front of the world. He was asked to join the team, and answered the call, and this is what they did to him.
It's quite similar to some of the judging and condemnation occurring on this board today. Different topic, same hate.

His pink vagina hat. He's a real fashion plate

I have no idea if the guy is guilty or innocent, but this is a travesty that tramples all over this guy's rights.
Because he’s been allowed to take part in the Olympics.
Note that my op said that there should be a good lawsuit in this.
He earned an alternate spot and is in an alternate spot pending the review.
Can one sue over being denied the same color mask as others?
Edit: there is not one accusation. There are multiple over multiple years.
The pink mask wokies will be praying for a guilty verdict on this guy which will help them a lot, but if it doesn't happen...and in a court of law rather than a farcical college tribunal, they should be at significant legal risk.

Discovery would be fabulous for him if he is innocent.
And again, his innocence has yet to be determined....but he deserves the right to that determination.

The people upset with politics are not those watching the NBA anyway. And sports ratings have been down across gather board.
So yeah, I stand by that.

the FBI fully involved, the new flag rules inside and out the arenas, and the drivers all in with the blm Bubba Wallace Kumbaya stupidity has all paid a serious toll with NASCAR fans. Nothing like seeing a blm car racing the circuit to the approval of the clapping seals of drivers, owners, corporate sponsors, and NASCAR officials with no regard to the fans. The only thing missing is a Pride decorated car and it's coming. Seen enough of it in Nashville when I was there in June.
a big bash that featured Elton John as the musical act. He was booed off stage and left prematurely.
1 x 1 men's beach volleyball, freestyle running, breakdancing, BMX slalom, and the other, like, epic events really aren't that appealing to the few willing to sit down and watch the Olympics these days.
The Woke garbage turns off some, I'm sure, but not like it does to traditional NFL and NBA fans.
You remain pathetic.

An incident that nobody knows about, surrounding a sport that nobody follows, is the reason 'so few are watching'.
Dude, dial it back a bit.
....this is a stupid post Nigel. Actually tons of people now know about it, and tons of people have tried and convicted this guy without a trial.
and to connect the dots for you here, this represents another example of millenial athletes using their Olympic Platform to push their ideology.
He was expelled from Columbia for a year and kicked off its fencing team. The current accusations are still under consideration which is why he won an arbitration case to compete.
And what would he sue over? Being embarrassed?
right?)
An arbitrator removed the suspension, and these three social justice warriors decided to pass judgment on their own.
No trial, just their perceived justice.
The accusation alone was enough.
You are correct that I incorrectly stated that charges were dropped when I should have said that the susepnsion was dropped AND that he was readmitted to an ultraliberal institution after review these charges from an alleged incident years ago.
Everybody deserves the presumption of innocnece until they have their trial.
He was suspended for a year and permanently kicked off the CU fencing team. Nothing was overturned.
And the Council of Sport, or whatever the Congressionally appointed body is named, is still reviewing it so an arbitrator said he had to be allowed on the team. Kinda like a baseball player is allowed to play while he appeals a suspension.
But go ahead and keep defending a guy that 2 dozen guys and girls say is an assaulter. That’s a good look.
...and it is FAR more significant that Columbia let the guy back in than that they suspened him for a year given how the system is set up to deal with such accusations. Regardless, I never misrepresented his status at Columbia.
Of course, you know this. :)
He's there while the Council of Sport reviews the case (sic?).
And you did misrepresent it. There was no overturning of a suspension (your post: "Suspension was overturned, ...). He was suspended a year. He came back after a year.
I'm out for the day. Deuces.
