What's the over/under on weeks to Taliban reign of terror?

There are 300K troops in the Afghan national army. All outfitted by us.
They have an Air Force with 130 planes. All given by us. Pilots all trained by us.
Don’t tell me they don’t have what they need, materially...they just don’t have the will, and are led by corrupt creeps.
And there is not a damn thing we can do about that.
The implementation of this withdrawal is a total clusterfuck. Afghans who helped us are being left behind. Women are going to be raped and abused. Children will be forbidden from learning how to read.
Biden owns this shit show. Total incompetence.

We should get all of those out who helped us. Then blow up the embassy and kill a bunch of the tribal savages on the way out.
We have been there twenty years. Plenty of time for the natives to take ownership of their situation. They won’t do it. Both Germany and Japan were back up as functioning nations after WWII by the early 50’s. Afghanistan is a failed nation as a centralized governing state primarily due to its tribal affiliations. That won’t change ever.
I also bet the Taliban would poll well in a real election.
Time to say bye bye.
For, say, 60 years. Make that one district a paradise. Call it the Free State of Edessa. It could be for the Army in Central Asia what Okinawa is for the Marines in the Pacific.
Granted, I put about 30 second of thought into that strategy. There are other legitimate strategies, like go in and go out every 5 years.
But, I was never under any illusions that this war was going to last less than 100 years. That's why the DOD started calling it the Long War early on...but the politicians decided that was a very bad name.
I do know that they don't seem to have the will to fight for their own rights. It remains to be seen if they even recognize the validity of rights.
You can't impose freedom on people who don't want it. You just can't.
All you can impose is the near certain death that will come to them, if they come over here to kill our civilians. If they come here, we will come back and kill them 80% of them (some will always escape)...however many times it takes until they stop.

there, and the majority of the people are tribal savages that want to be ruled by savages. They have had 20 years to change their situation and they are still the same.
And they were gonna like it.
We went in to get the terrorists, we should have left shortly after.
After thousands of years these people weren't going to change their ways just because we have bigger guns.
They have to change from within. It's a shame so many more will die because we wanted to change them.

We should have killed as many bad guys as we could, installed our own caliph there and told him he can run it as long as he pays tribute to us and kills the other tribal chiefs and left.

It was always a lost cause.
I felt like we went into Iraq because Afghanistan was too easy, and the nation still had the blood lust.
It wasn’t even a matter of politics then.
A politician’s job is to win campaigns. If it means bowing to blood lust, they have no inhibitions to send in the military.
