Dementia is a progressive condition, meaning that it gets worse over time. The speed of deterioration differs between individuals. Age, general health and the underlying disease causing brain damage will all affect the pattern of progression. However, for some people the decline can be sudden and rapid. Yikes!
You gotta wonder if stress accelerates the deterioration process? And then, who has to intervene and at what personal cost? And is it elderly abuse not to put the person in specialty care?
We are barely past the first 1/8th of Joe’s term. This might actually become a Weekend at Bernie’s administration. If so, our media is to blame for not vetting him during the campaign. I can’t believe I’m saying this but we might have Ben better off with the real Bernie.
boasts about his deal with the Taliban?...you would think they'd be proud of his efforts to build a plan that left Biden with just 2,000 troops, a demoralized Afghan army, and only four months to execute it, while having zero Special Visas available for those who helped us all those 20 years...that's a head scratcher for you.
You'd be forgiven if you thought there was 'malice of forethought in that exit plan.

Orange the evil genius stupid baboon. Whatever suits your appetite.
troops to 'protect' Americans...and no prior coordination with the incoming administration?...Did Biden have a hand in that deal?...No...he was "Dealt" that hand...
I'm not saying that Trump has the brains to put together any cohesive plan, but his handlers in the GOP administration did...and this one has "Malice of Forethought" all over it.
I'm stating facts...not sure what your view is built on.
Again your honor move to strike.
veracity of any factual points I made regarding the conditions Trump, et al, left Biden...?
>Opposition to Special Visas, since 2017, for the Afghanis who helped us...thus making it nearly impossible to process the tens of thousands or requests we now have
>Reduction of U.S. troop level to only 2,500 for the security of all American and Afghan evacuees
>Timeline available to Biden admin of only 4 months for complete exit
I'll grant that my supposition of no cooperation between the Trump admin and Biden's is conjecture, but I'll leave that to the jury to ponder.
Of course you can't refute any of it...all you can do is huff and puff...pretty weak in my eyes.
You are speculating nothing more. Biden could have done any number of things. To claim he was suddenly handcuffed is nonsense.
Special Visas for Afghanis who stood with us is the one that stokes my ire the most...
My wife and I pitched in to help Catholic Charities many years ago in their efforts to help families from Afghanistan settle in the Bay Area. We led a group from our church that moved one of those families into an apartment...found them transportation...and generally stayed close over several months to make sure they had support and advocates as they negotiated their new surroundings.
While we were satisfied enough that we were helping those refugees in their time of need, they went out of their way to show their thanks...once they had their feet under them, they invited us to a dinner that could have fed a small army...it had to cost them a large percentage of their 'disposable' funds...later, when their daughter got married, we were invited to the (Muslim) wedding...henna and all...we were considered "family".
I'll never, ever turn a blind eye to what Donald Trump and his merry band of heartless cretins did to today's Afghanis who desperately need help with Special Visas...if only just to keep on living.
Don't even try to argue with me on this issue...one of many that Trump must be held Accountable' for.
What justification are you running with in that scenario since you seem very content to support any and every action or decision of Biden's?
out safely...which, with 2.5K U.S. troops isn't a real problem...and 2) find ways to evacuate tens of thousands of Afghans who stood with us for 20 years...under the constraints of...
>Absolutely no Special Visas for those Afghanis...a problem that started two months after Trump took office...he shut it all down...huge backlog...and it takes months for the process to play out
>Not enough U.S. security forces (i.e. only those 2.5K troops) to enable safe transport and processing of the Afghanis to exit point(s)
>Not enough time to complete the task...Biden extended the date, but w/o U.S. military support, the Afghan military crumbled immediately...
As is typical for Trump and his supporters, no responsibility for any of this is taken...just the sound of hands being washed.
I know for a fact that Trump did his best to screw the Afghanis who worked with and for us, right from the jump...it remains to be seen how effectively Biden cleans it up...let's see how many Afghanis he can get out of there.
Have too many of the competent people in the military command structure been replaced by #woke incompetents. When a meritocracy is replaced with quotas and virtue signaling, you get the kind of buffoonish operation that the Biden admin put on in Afghanistan.

Or confusing the state he's in, day of the week, and being unable to finish sentences.
Right-wing propaganda.
Dumb dumb.
Ask Mike Cohen.
Whether it was or wasn’t the Donald may be a matter of dispute. But it’s out there. Mulder and Scully could find it.

His speech yesterday was strong, even if one doesn’t agree with all of it.
Someone with dementia couldn’t do that. Have you seen a parent or relative with real senile dementia? It’s an awful thing and looks nothing like Biden.

absolutely scary repetitive slogan-ish, rain man style of answering questions. Watch any Trump interview and he repeats the same answer, the same way every time almost like a bot.
Per USA Today article: The president’s rhythm of speaking, in which he echoes the same phrases and descriptors, has been on display since he entered the presidential race. The examples have penetrated the zeitgeist. Bad deals are “terrible,” the media is “dishonest,” and the system, “broken.”
The style of repetition isn’t lost on linguists, who say his speech is similar to what advertisers use to get people to buy products.
Yet Biden is the one with dementia, right?
