What I find offensive is when one them makes a statement like, "The American people don't care about this. What the American people care about it ....{insert slam on the opponent here}". and do a complete pivot without answering the question.

I like Tony Kornheiser's old rule - he doesn't have athletes on his radio show, as a general rule, because they have nothing to say. That should be the case for political shows, too, with politicians.
