I've been skeptical of the concept but when the president himself talks about his instructions of who to call on in front of the press, well that's pretty much a smoking gun.
Anyone who is actively posting and doesn't respond will be considered as an affirmation of "yes, Biden has handlers".

They're not handlers, they're advisors.
The election wasn't fraudulent, it was secured.
They're not illegals, they're unregistered.
It's not a cluster fuck, it's an evacuation that could have been worse and quite frankly is getting better!
It's not dementia, it's losing your fastball.
He can barely speak, but he doesn't tweet.
Just gotta find language that's more soothing.
But yes, I do believe Joe is being HEAVILY advised.
We're not pretzels, we're croissants. Croissants, as you know, are for the sophisticated.
…but he is not in charge. There are “handlers.” No one can identify any of them, but they exist, yessir.
Seems that would be concern number one of a handler. "Jesus!!! I can't let anyone know Joe's not in charge of this thing! I better hide! Can't be identified as his handler."

Or the missing hospital ship.
Frank is still searching the dark web for the pee pee tapes.
Here we have a president who states out loud that he is being instructed on who to take questions from and presumably, how to answer. Weird you're no longer concerned about the "end of the republic" as it's crumbling all around us.

stop fantasizing or wishfully hoping that the current President can't do the job.

with the various reporters and arrange for Jim, or Nancy, or Peter. or...to go first when the President opens up for questions?...really?...
I still remember episodes from "The West Wing" (which had GOP and Dem Press Secretaries as consultants for the show) where Bartlett's PS made similar 'suggestions' to him when he did Q&A's...it's SOP from all I can tell...but if you have conflicting info, please share.
Oh, and the Regan/Reagan piece is a 'real world' example of true "Handling" in my book.

Given that the succession line is Harris followed by Pelosi, there is no desire to see Biden gone other than to have somoeone who can be firmer in the world theater.
certainly looks like it to me...in the present day, I haven't seen anything like that wrt President Biden...he's held his own just fine, thank you, in all of his Press Briefing Q&A's, where there's no teleprompter or aide standing next to him...and he makes perfect sense.
I get that you're desperate to find ways to denigrate the man...that's politics, and Biden has shown he's up to the challenge...btw, did you notice that when Peter Doocy (FOXNews) asked a 'gotcha' question of the President, he (Biden) didn't immediately call him a "Nasty Reporter" from a "Fake News" outlet...he treated him with the same respect as any other reporter...another credit to Joe Biden...he doesn't have "diaphanously thin" skin, like you-know-who...we've got the right guy in charge.
….he has deteriorated. He has acknowledged he has people telling him what to do, and he has revealed that he has a preferred set of journalists to call on……he just can’t avoid Doucy from Fox.
I do agree that Reagan was fading fast in 87-88 at the end of his magnificent presidency, but his helpers were much better and more capable than these failures. Biden had this problem before he even took office, and he has bumbled away almost everything in only 7 months.

I suspect that as with his presidency, Obama finds the daily work of leading to be dreary such that he loses interest. But his fingerprints are all over this presidency.
