Back in the 60's, the really radical African Americans had far more disdain for the "liberals" who merely used minority voters to secure power than they did for conservative politicians who openly opposed civil rights legislation. Since then... well... the Democrat plantation mentality has accomplished nothing for the African American community,
Would that be Adam Clayton Powell, Stokeley Carmichael , or Martin Luther King?
Stokeley!

Now, all the southern Democratic areas that voted against anti-slavery are now hard-core Republicans, and the Republican areas in the north that supported anti-slavery are Democratic. The Democratic "Solid South" became Republican after Johnson signed the Equal Housing Act, the Voting Rights Act and the Non-Discrimination Act back in the 1960s. What hypocrites. The KKK and prejudice aren't tolerated out in the open anymore but they are still talked about at home and behind close doors. In the south, the same people that were Dixiecrats in the 1950s and 1960s are now Republicans. Again, hypocrites.
in the ghetto and unemployed. Unemployment has doubled for blacks under Soetoro, while illegal aliens get the jobs. Dems fight legislation to let blacks use vouchers to get into better school. I f you educate them, they will not be dependent on gov. handouts.
Put on your hammer and sickle gear and keep posting this BS from your weak brainwashed mind.
first and what's better for our fellow citizens than what our party duality makes us think we should do. The Democratic Party has done wonderful things for our country, such as the Republicans, hell even the Bull Moose Party. This election cycle has really made me fear for where our country is headed. We can't seem to have good honest dialogue about anything, and it's trickled down to the average good ole American regardless of political bend. We're all getting screwed by this.
party. I agree with you it would be better for all if divide was not so great. I agree also that Dems have done good for the country as well as Rs. However, the radical trio I named above makes it difficult to see anything positive about the Dems in power as long as they are controlled by that trio of anti-American people.

All initiated, pushed through Congress and signed by Democratic presidents.
Civil rights act. Get your history straight. They fought both when Ike pushed for them in the 50s. Put your dunce cap back on and sit in the corner.
Two thumbs up

PS: I guess that makes you a one time democrat.
Say all you want they were dems at the time.
same Dem party that produced the creators of the KKK. The black community gets nothing in return for their votes. With their jobs going to illegal aliens brought in by Dems, unemployment has double in their community. Ike fought for a civil rights bill during his term. I suppose that he was a Dixiecrat ? JFK fought it in the Senate. Was he a Dixiecrat?
I am still waiting for your first intelligent post.
So those guys really upset you - because today you hold an entirely different set of values and views from those southern dixiecrats...
your racist Dem buddies do upset me. All racists upset me.
Clearly you're in agreement with Dixiecrats of old or just live the life of a Republican.

Hmmm... how short our memories can become. My post was not supportive of the Republican party but was a condemnation! Lincoln... Trump! OMG... this is cognitive dissonance. I am appalled. BUT... let us not lose sight of the fact the white Democrats have always been racists... ALWAYS!
to call Democrats racist. You're a joke.
I can't believe you're fishing for congratulations from the Dim set here on the Forum. You must think you're in or you're just feel the need to be a LT wannabee.
