Notwithstanding any failures in intelligence or reverse planning, the United States stuck with the mission under very difficult circumstances.
The loss of 13 American service personnel will forever be tragic. As will the scores of Afghans who died over the past 2 weeks. No question.
We are out. History will be the best barometer whether President Biden's decision to withdrawal was prudent or flawed.
