It was both disgusting and disturbing. This was in broad daylight in the cities highest rent district.
I was recently tough on NYC after a visit, but at least I didn't SEE the rats. Chicago has fallen very far.
I wonder if feral cats would be allowed? (No cat that is not desperately hungry would want to mess with these giant rats).

i live here and never have seen one downtown on the mag mile, yer full of rats...
i worked many years at wacker and monroe and ate all the time on the mag mile...
the only thing close to a rat I saw was unemployed and lazy liberals wanting a hand out !!!

At least in the French Quarter. Our rat-to-person ratio has to be way up there.
I was getting a tour of one of my favorite restaurants - Antoine's - two weeks ago while some friends were in town and a rat the size of a poodle climbed up some wires behind a computer into a hole in the ceiling. It was the second rat I saw that night, and the biggest.
