On my way back from the airport, my car service driver was euphoric. Much respect to Trump, Ivanka, Melania. Beautiful first family despite what the Left says. Proud they are in the office.
Optimism everywhere.
It's going to be a good four years. He will continually outperform the Left's low expectations.
Really, do you think Pelosi and Schumer are going to lead the Left back from the wilderness? You can forget that ever happening.

This was beautiful, Cole. Perfectly illustrates the phenomenon I've described here many times: people on the right and the left who believe politics is the means by which we improve our lives and if we just get the right person into office, things will be well.
It's even more amusing when it comes from mighty righties. You know, folks like you who inform us that "government is the problem." Except when the right tribe, er, party is in control or the right guy. Aces.
If you were, that's how I feel. Let's see who turns out to be the better President.
If your mood and outlook is affected by politicians, you are either an clueless or a loon, and you are certainly a political religionist.
Honestly, I can't stand the lot of you. I'm consciously paying less attention to politics. It's not simply useless, it detracts from your lives.
our defenses will not have a positive impact on your own life, then I feel sad for you and worry about the education you received.
Or that phony chucklehead radio deejay from Indiana sitting on his lap. You really are foolish enough to believe Donny can "fix" those things, aren't you?
I wonder how long it will take you and the rest of the crew to start the excommunications and purges once your tribal leaders fail to follow through on many of these promises?

My view is that for most things other than police and military, the government is generally ill-suited to act. Less government is better. So, electing the right guy is not to fix problems, but to stop the government from making problems. Of course, that is a hard sell to most people. And, once they get to D.C., they start to want to do things instead of stopping doing things, which is unfortunate.

If not, your sense that there is "optimism everywhere" suggests you don't have your finger on the pulse of this country.
Then again, maybe you and all your buddies are into fascism. That could be.
This is classic Peronism, strong man, nationalistic bullshit.
If anyone got rich off this system it was Trump.
And don't tell me he wasn't your man.

Caudillo is perfectly said.
So you should thank me. Are you going to be there?
