Oh. OK. I'm actually for good stewardship of the Earth, as is almost everyone else on both sides.
The issue is whether that stewardship requires certain spending or not. We probably disagree on the types of steps government can take, and should take, to effect that proper stewardship. But, we probably agree that the stewardship should be done.

I think he admires Putie for being able to get away with the shit that he does. That's bad in and of itself.

Concern? I guess. Concerned enough to continue watching and waiting...but I was already doing that.
I guess I interpreted his 1st comments to be about politicized IC officers higher up, and his 2nd comments (yesterday) to be about the IC community at all levels below them. That is, he supports all levels except the political ones 1000%.
But, I'm not too distressed about any of this (remember, I'm in the "acceptance" stage). I did my duty: I voted and helped prevent what I thought would be worse outcome. I wasn't sure if Trump would be a good outcome or not. So, I will continue to watch and see what happens.
But what about you? What do you propose we do to fix this? Should the left and the Franklicans just continue to try to make Trump more insecure in his ability to govern?
here is what we should do. And not just the left. Every
Principled American should as well. Point out the lies and distortions. Make them all big deals because they are. Proceed with the bipartisan investigation of the Russian interference.
I think what the left and Democrats is resist at every level. Cabinet picks. Filibuster. March protest and do it some more.
That will work great unless you are correct about Trump.
Tactics like that work great against a president that cares about our constitutional republic. So, if I'm right, your tactics will work great.
If your assessment of Trump is correct, and he's a Putinj-in-waiting, then things could get very ugly very fast.
