Trying to filibuster Gorsuch will seem to have only that as a primary result.
Probably, in the long run, having no filibuster will help progressives & liberals......at least, it will help them if you assume that Trump does not dissolve Congress and execute all the Dems under direct orders from Putin.

Oh wait, that didn't actually happen.
…I think that they think they can win back the senate in the long run. Either way though, it is already the norm - either side will use it if they have to - and they will. The GOP may as well get what they can while they can.

If the Dems want it for their Supreme Court nominees they can wait until they are back in the majority. Their base wouldn't care.

…oh I see. You thought Trump was saying those things because he actually admired Putin rather than that Trump was trying to take advantage of his honeymoon period as a new president to create some temporary partnerships for a common goal. Well, I know it may seem confusing, but statesmen sometimes need to do those kids of things. But don't worry, the Democrats ruined any honeymoon that Trump might have had quickly - that hurt our country which could use some cooperation in Syria, etc., but it did help the Dems prevent Trump from getting a win for the country which is always the important thing.

worst. Your mind is tainted toward him. Remember Obama/Hillary's "Reset Button" with him despite Bush's experience?
Trump loves authoritarians.
Hills called him out on it during his last election and Barry slapped sanctions on him twice. Get a grip.

Or, do you only save conspiracy theories like that for Trump?

Do you think Ivanka and Jared Kushner are like Uday and Qusay Hussein?
I don't think even Clinton said that.
